How our pricing compares to the market
Accessibility audit pricing across the EU market typically falls into three bands. We built our tiers to sit where agencies can actually sell them — resale-ready at a profitable markup, without the 3,000+ € ticket that blocks deals.
Rule violations only. No prioritization, no screenshots, no client-ready output, no remediation roadmap. Great for developer QA, not agency resale.
Automated scan + operator-led review, screenshot evidence, prioritized roadmap, white-label PDF. Built for agencies to resell or bundle with design/dev work.
Full manual conformance audits, VPAT/ACR, expert testimony, user testing with people with disabilities. The right call for litigation, certification, or enterprise-scale scope. Pricier and slower.
Inside the 399 € audit deliverable
Every paid audit ships as a single PDF that doubles as both a client-facing brief and a developer-ready remediation plan. Here's exactly what shows up in your white-label report — no surprises, no “and another fee for that.”
Your agency logo, name, and primary colour. Client name, site URL, audit window, and the conformance bar (WCAG 2.1 AA via EN 301 549). One page that lands like the engagement deliverable it is.
Score out of 100, severity-tier breakdown, top three priorities by business impact, and an effort estimate range in dev hours. Designed to brief a non-technical stakeholder in two minutes.
Up to 60+ axe-core findings get clustered into 8 to 20 actionable issues. One template-level fix typically closes a dozen instances — that's the work compression that makes 399 € fundable as agency labor.
Each cluster gets an annotated screenshot of the exact page state, the failing CSS selector, the WCAG criterion, and the journey/template it belongs to. The kind of evidence a legal team can quote.
Every cluster is tagged with frontend / content / design system, plus a scope flag (page-specific, template-wide, shared component). Your delivery PM uses this to assign tickets without re-reading the report.
Clusters sorted into now / next / later based on severity, journey impact, and effort. The 90-day plan a client can sign off without further consulting work from your end.
The full WCAG criterion list with pass/fail/needs-review status, plus all flagged manual-review items the automated scanner couldn't verify on its own. Your dev lead lives here.
Permanent shareable link (token-protected), downloadable PDF, and one round of post-delivery revision included if the client's legal or dev team has questions about scope.
The same template that ships with every paid audit, demo data in place. Walk it before you walk the client through it.
How EU agencies actually charge for this
Pricing is built so you can mark it up like any other line on a project quote. The rough math agencies use across DACH, France, Spain, and the Nordics:
Bundle into a project deliverable
Wrap the 399 € audit into a redesign or migration project budget at 1,500 to 2,500 €. Client sees a single line item — ‘EU accessibility audit and remediation plan’ — and the margin pays for your PM time.
Sell it standalone to existing clients
Direct-bill clients in the 1,200 to 1,800 € range as a one-off audit. Especially common right after EAA enforcement letters land. No bundling required, fast close.
Anchor the monitoring retainer
Audit at cost or near-cost (399 to 800 €) to win the relationship, then monitoring at 350 to 600 €/mo wrapped into a maintenance retainer. Twelve months of margin instead of one.
Agency-side workflow examples and pitch scripts: the For Agencies page covers the four-step resale flow, plus what to send clients between scan, audit, and retainer.
Questions before you book
How much does a WCAG accessibility audit cost?
A full WCAG 2.1 AA audit at AccessiProof is 399 €, covering up to 15 key pages with screenshot evidence, a prioritized remediation roadmap, effort ranges, and white-label PDF export. Boutique firms typically charge 1,500 € to 5,000+ € for equivalent scope, so this pricing is built to be the obvious agency-resale entry point.
Is the free scan actually free?
Yes. Up to 5 pages scanned automatically with priority issues, evidence blocks, and a shareable report. No credit card. No signup. The report is emailed within 24 hours.
What does monthly monitoring include?
Monthly monitoring is 199 € per month. It covers up to 3 client sites in one portfolio with monthly rescans, regression detection, verified fix tracking, and client-ready PDF reports. Custom portfolio pricing is available once you need coverage for 4 or more sites.
Is this the same as a manual accessibility audit by an expert?
A full manual conformance audit by a certified accessibility specialist ranges from 1,500 € to 5,000+ € depending on scope, with enterprise engagements running higher. Our paid audits combine automated scanning (axe-core) with operator-led review of every finding, which catches most DOM-reachable WCAG violations. We flag which findings were automated vs. human-verified. For regulatory disputes or VPAT/ACR certification, we recommend a specialist firm — we complement that work, not replace it.
Do you offer agency or partner discounts?
The standard pricing is already built for agency resale — you can white-label every report and charge your client whatever markup fits. For portfolio monitoring of 4+ client sites we offer custom pricing. Email office@accessiproof.com for partner inquiries.
Do you offer refunds?
If your paid audit report does not meet the scope described here, email us within 14 days of delivery and we will either rework it or refund the full audit fee. Monthly monitoring can be cancelled at any time with no penalty.
How does this compare to overlay widgets that cost hundreds of euros per month?
Overlay widgets layer JavaScript on top of your site and do not change the underlying HTML, ARIA, or content — which is what EN 301 549 and the EAA actually reference. They also frequently interfere with users' existing assistive technology. Our audits identify the real barriers so your developers can fix them at the source. See the widget section on our EAA page for details.
Start free, upgrade when you're ready
Most agencies start with a free scan on a current client site, then upgrade to a paid audit when the client approves the budget. Monthly monitoring follows once they see the value.
